BOYS 2024 SPRING OUTDOOR SEASON

Designed for boys currently enrolled in grades UPK - 6. This program is competitive, consisting of practices and games. NO EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY and all new players are welcome to join at any level! This program is broken down into the following levels: 

UPK/K - Boys currently enrolled in UPK or Kindergarten

1/2 - Boys currently enrolled in 1st or 2nd grade

3/4- Boys currently enrolled in 3rd or 4th grade

5/6 - Boys currently enrolled in 5th or 6th grade

REGISTRATION DETAILS:

***Registration will be open to Rush-Henrietta Residents ONLY. Registration will open JANUARY 26th - FEBRUARY 26th***

Rush-Henrietta Youth Lacrosse programs are grade-based.

Players are not permitted to play with Rush Henrietta Youth Lacrosse teams above or below their current grade level

***USA Lacrosse Membership:

$35 - anyone 22 years or younger
This is required in order to participate in any RH Youth Lacrosse Program

A USA Lacrosse membership will only be purchased ONE TIME per calendar year. For the duration of your players year long membership you will be required to enter their USA Lacrosse ID number during the registration process. This yearly membership insures your player wherever they play lacrosse. Additionally, there are many other benefits to take advantage of as a parent and for your player.

The USA Lacrosse Membership ID number will be needed in order to complete your program registration.

REGISTRATION COSTS:  

Grades 1-6 $130: season participation + additional uniform fee (Cost TBD**)

Grades UPK/K: $100 season participation + additional uniform fee (cost TBD**)

For players in grades 1-6, the registration fee covers, weekly games, 2 tournaments, practices twice a week that consist of skill development, game instruction and conditioning.

For players in UPK/K, the registration fee covers: friendly scrimmages, and practices twice a week that consist of skill development, game instruction and conditioning. 

**New uniforms for ALL players will be included in the cost of registration. As always, it is our goal to keep costs as low as possible for families. Funds raised during our current Rally UP campaign will be used in part to offset the cost of new uniforms. Based on the success of these fundraising efforts, the cost of uniforms will be added to your current invoice by March 23rd in the amount of $40 -  $80. We will send a separate email with details after the close of our Rally Up Fundraising campaign.  

PRACTICE INFORMATION:

Given the uncertain spring weather we typically find in Rochester, the first four practices will be held indoors at the Regional Sports Center Henrietta, NY

Mondays: 4/08, 4/15, 4/22, 4/29                                                    Wednesdays: 4/10, 4/17, 4/24, 5/1

UPK/K Team - 6:00 - 6:45 pm                                                        1/2 Team - 5:00 - 6:15 pm

3/4 Team- 6:45 - 8:00 pm                                                               5/6 Team 6:15 - 8:00 pm
For the remainder of the season, MAY - JUNE, practices will be held at location TBD within Henrietta. 

Practices times will be as follows:

UPK/K Team - Mondays and Wednesdays 5:30 - 6:30 pm

1/2 Team - Mondays and Wednesdays 6:00 - 7:15 pm

3/4 Team - Mondays and Wednesdays: 6:00 -7:30 pm

5/6 Team- Mondays and Wednesdays: 6:00 - 8:00 pm

The Weekly Games and Tournament schedules are TBD and will be shared via SportsYou. Practices, special events and other team specific updates will also be communicated via this app.

EQUIPMENT INFORMATION:

Helmet, gloves, elbow pads, chest pads, mouth guard, uniform, and full size boys stick are required to participate. 

For anyone NEW to the sport OR anyone at the UPK/K or 1/2 levels, we do have a LIMITED selection of equipment available to rent. 

Rental equipment will be provided on a first come, first serve basis as determined by timestamped registrations and availability. 

Full Equipment Rental: $40 - includes Helmet, shoulder pads, elbow pads, and gloves

Helmet ONLY Rental: $25 - includes Helmet only

You can select items needed and pay for them at the end of the on-line registration process. 

All rental equipment will be returned at the end of the Spring season at a set location, date, and time TBD. 

PURCHASING EQUIPMENT:

There are many options when it comes to purchasing lacrosse equipment. We highly recommend checking out Play it Again Sports, Dick's Sporting Goods, or Lacrosse Unlimited. There is also an RH Lacrosse Club Facebook Buy, Sell, and Trade group. You are welcome to search there and/or create an "In Search Of" post. 

PRACTICE APPAREL:

Players should wear comfortable, weather appropriate athletic clothing (shorts, sweatpants, t-shirts, tanks and/or sweatshirts) for practices along with cleats for the outdoor fields. 

UNIFORMS: 

Players will be required to have an RH uniform to participate. The uniform cost is included within the registration as outlined above. The uniform will include a reversible pinnie, reversible jersey, shooter shirt (t-shirt worn under the jersey) and shorts. 

You will order your size during the on-line registration process. 

MULTI-PLAYER DISCOUNT:

For families with more than two players, we offer a 25% discount for the third or more child. Please email us at rhlacrosseclub@gmail.com for the code. 

PROCESSING FEE: 

There is a 5% processing fee applied to the registration cost at checkout. 

PARENT MEETING:

We will hold a parent meeting the first full week of April to introduce our coaches and go over information for the season. Stay tuned for more details!
