Boys in UPK through 6th Grade
✔️ No experience necessary — new players are welcome at every level!

WHAT

A fun and developmentally appropriate balance of skill instruction and competition, with a strong emphasis on learning, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

• Two practices per week

• Weekend games for grades 1–6

WHEN

PRACTICE SCHEDULE

Weather & Field Conditions

Due to typical Rochester Spring weather, indoor space is reserved as a backup throughout April. Our hope is to get outdoors as soon as possible, but early-season practices may be indoor, outdoor, or a hybrid of both depending on conditions.

We also work closely with the school district and town to protect field quality and will stay off fields when they are too wet. We appreciate your flexibility early in the season, as significant coordination happens behind the scenes to ensure safe, high-quality practice environments for players and coaches.

During April, indoor practices will be held one day per week (Monday or Wednesday) if needed.

Indoor Practices (April 6 – April 29)

Location: Rochester Sports Garden
Practices will be held indoors unless weather permits outdoor sessions.

UPK / Kindergarten

• Mondays | 5:30 – 6:30 PM

• Dates: 4/6, 4/13, 4/20, 4/27

1st / 2nd Grade

• Mondays | 5:30 – 6:30 PM

• Dates: 4/6, 4/13, 4/20, 4/27

3rd / 4th Grade

• Wednesdays

  • 4/8: 5:00 – 6:00 PM

  • 4/15, 4/22, 4/29: 5:30 – 6:30 PM

5th / 6th Grade

• Wednesdays

  • 4/8: 5:00 – 6:00 PM

  • 4/15, 4/22, 4/29: 5:30 – 6:30 PM

Outdoor Practices (May 4 – May 31)

Location: TBD (Henrietta area)

UPK / Kindergarten

• Mondays & Wednesdays | 6:00 – 7:00 PM

1st / 2nd Grade

• Mondays & Wednesdays | 6:00 – 7:00 PM

3rd / 4th Grade

• Mondays & Wednesdays | 6:00 – 7:15 PM

5th / 6th Grade

• Mondays & Wednesdays | 6:00 – 7:30 PM

GAMES & EVENTS

Grades 1–6

• Saturday games beginning April 18 (schedule TBD)

• Weekly games from April 18 – May 31

• No games Memorial Day weekend

• Two Sunday tournaments (dates and locations TBD)

UPK / Kindergarten

• A few friendly Saturday scrimmages (schedule TBD)

EQUIPMENT & UNIFORMS

Required Equipment (UPK–6th Grade)

• Helmet

• Shoulder/Chest Pads

• Elbow Pads

• Gloves

• Boys' lacrosse stick

• Mouth guard

Rental Gear (limited quantities- first come basis)

Available during registration for:

• UPK–2nd Grade players

• Any first-year player in grades 3–6

Uniforms (required)

Uniform Includes:

• Jersey

• Shooter shirt

Cost: $100

Uniform Numbers:
Numbers are assigned at random. Even if sizing up, specific numbers cannot be guaranteed.

UPK / Kindergarten

Uniforms are optional. An optional uniform purchase will be available during registration. Players who do not purchase a uniform will be provided with a pinnie to borrow for the season

Grades 1–6

An RH uniform is required.

Ordering Information (during registration):

• New Players
  We recommend sizing up so the uniform can be worn for more than one season. New players will purchase the uniform bundle during registration.
  
  

Returning Players
Please try on your current uniform before registering to determine if any pieces need to be replaced due to growth.
All four uniform pieces are required; however, you may only need to size up for certain items. Individual pieces can be purchased separately during registration as needed.

SEASON PRICING

UPK / Kindergarten

• FREE

• Includes two practices per week and friendly scrimmages

Grades 1–6

• $100, includes:

  • Two practices per week

  • Weekly Saturday games

  • Two tournaments

Payment Plan Available

• First payment due at registration

• Second payment due April 10

Note: A 5% processing fee will be added at checkout.

USA LACROSSE MEMBERSHIP (REQUIRED)

• Cost: $35

• Required for all players 22 years old or younger

• Must be completed before program registration

• Purchased once per calendar year and provides coverage for all lacrosse participation
