PROGRAM DETAILS:

Designed for boys currently enrolled in grades UPK - 6. This program consists of age appropriate: skill development, game instruction and conditioning. No experience is necessary, and all new players are welcome to join at any level. This program is broken down into the following levels:

UPK/K-Boys currently enrolled in UPK and Kindergarten - weekly training only/no game play

1/2 - Boys currently enrolled in 1st and 2nd grade

3/4 - Boys currently in 3rd and 4th grades

5/6 - Boys currently in 5th and 6th grades

UPK/K PLAYERS PARTICIPATE FOR FREE!!! ONE practice a week to learn the foundational skills of lacrosse.

1/2, 3/4, and 5/6 players will have the opportunity to participate in weekly practices as well as game play in the Bull League.  All players wishing to participate in league play MUST be registered and participate in practices.

Rush-Henrietta Youth Lacrosse programs are grade-based.

Players are not permitted to play with Rush Henrietta Youth Lacrosse teams above or below their current grade level

PROGRAM REGISTRATION FEE: This fee includes 18 weeks of lacrosse fun!

Grades UPK/Kindergarten: FREE!!!

EARLY BIRD PRICE (10/20-10/27) $145

FULL PRICE (10/28 - 11/10) $160 (split payment plan available for full price option. First payment due at time of registration, second payment due 2/7

REGISTRATION FOR THE LEAGUE WILL BE A SEPARATE REGISTRATION PLATFORM AND ADDITIONAL FEE. LINK TO REGISTER FOR THE LEAGUE WILL BE SENT AFTER YOU HAVE REGISTERED FOR PRACTICES.

USA Lacrosse Membership:

$35 per year/ 22 under membership

*NEW AS OF JULY 1ST 2025-AS PART OF THE USA LAX MEMBERSHIP PROCESS YOU WILL NEED TO COMPLETE AN AGE VERIFICATION.

This is required in order to participate in any RH Youth Lacrosse Program

A USA Lacrosse membership will only be purchased ONE TIME per calendar year. For the duration of your players yearlong membership, you will enter their USA Lacrosse ID number during the registration process. This yearly membership insures your player wherever they play lacrosse. Additionally, there are many other benefits to take advantage of as a parent and for your player.

The USA Lacrosse Membership ID number will be needed in order to complete your program registration.

PRACTICE INFORMATION:

Location:  ROCHESTER SPORTS GARDEN (1460 E. Henrietta Road, Rochester, NY 14623):

UPK/Kindergarten: Thursdays 5:00 - 6:00 (east field)

Grade 1 and Grade 2: Thursdays 5:00 - 6:30 (east field)

Grade 3 and Grade 4: Mondays 5:30 - 6:30 (west field)/ Wednesdays 5:00 - 6:00 (east field)

Grade 5 and Grade 6: Mondays 5:00 - 6:00 (east field)/Wednesdays 5:00-6:00 (east field)

If you are interested in playing and do not have equipment, please sign up for equipment and pay the associated rental fee.

If you are a returning player, please bring all equipment with you as well as a water bottle, stick and mouth guard.

LEAGUE INFORMATION:

We will be participating in the 3d BULL Box Lacrosse League. The 1/2 level will play field rules on an indoor box field. Players at the 3/4 and 5/6 level will be playing box lacrosse rules. All games will be held at The Rochester Sports Garden on Saturday afternoons (see details below). 

Registration fees and the link for this league are separate from our practice registration. You will receive the link as soon as you have registered for the practices. Due to limited rosters, the league participation will be limited. We suggest registering immediately upon receiving the link! The deadline for league participation will be 11/5 for 5/6 players and 12/1 for 1/2 and 3/4 players.

1/2 players- fee $125 (includes custom jersey). 

Games will have start times of 2:30, 3:30 or 4:30 

Saturday: 2/14, 2/21, 2/28, 3/7, 3/14, 3/21

3/4 players-fee $145 (includes custom jersey). 

Games will have start times of 2:30, 3:30 or 4:30 

Saturday: 2/7, 2/14, 2/21, 2/28, 3/7, 3/14, 3/21

5/6 players- fee $155 (includes custom jersey). 

Games will have start times of 2:30 or 3:30 

Saturday: 12/6, 12/13, 12/20, 1/10, 1/17, 1/24 1/31

EQUIPMENT INFORMATION:

Required Equipment: Helmet, gloves, elbow pads, chest pads, mouth guard, and full-size boys stick (see image below).

***3/4 and 5/6 players- it is recommended those participating in the Bull Box League also have box rib pads and bicep pads.

Equipment Rental Program: 

*We do not have box lacrosse rib pads or bicep pads to rent at this time

Our equipment rental program is for anyone NEW to the sport or anyone at the UPK/K or 1/2 level.

*Given our limited selection of rental equipment, we request that seasoned players from the 3/4 and 5/6 levels come to the field with their own equipment.

We have a limited selection of equipment (helmet, shoulder pads, elbow pads, and gloves) available to rent. You can select items needed and pay for them at the end of the on-line registration process. In order to help maintain the safety and quality of our equipment, there will be a rental fee of $40 for a full set of equipment (helmet, shoulder pads, elbow pads and gloves) OR $25 for the helmet only.

Multi-player discount - For those families with more than two players, we offer a 25% discount for the third or more child. (This will apply to the practice registration fee only)
