UPK / Kindergarten Program

The UPK / Kindergarten Program is designed for girls currently enrolled in pre-Kindergarten (UPK) or Kindergarten.

This program is instructional, focused on introducing the basic skills and concepts of lacrosse. Players will participate in practices and friendly scrimmages, emphasizing fun, movement, coordination, and teamwork.

✔️ No experience is necessary — new players are welcome at any level!

PRACTICE SCHEDULE

Indoor Practices (April 6 – April 27)
Location: Rochester Sports Garden

• Mondays | 5:30 – 6:30 PM
  • Dates: 4/6, 4/13, 4/20, 4/27

Outdoor Practices (May)
Location: Lookup Park, Henrietta

• Mondays & Wednesdays | 5:00 – 6:00 PM

Note: Indoor practices may be used as a backup depending on weather. Coaches will communicate any changes.

EQUIPMENT

All players must have:

• Goggles
• Mouth guard
• Girls lacrosse stick

These items can be purchased at local sporting goods stores such as Dick’s Sporting Goods, Lacrosse Unlimited, or Play It Again Sports.

RENTAL GEAR

A limited selection of rental equipment is available for UPK/K players or any player new to the sport. Rental fees help ensure proper care and return of equipment at the end of the season and allow us to continue offering rental gear.

UNIFORM

• Optional for UPK/K players
• All registered players will receive a pinnie to borrow for practices and scrimmages
• Uniforms (Jersey, Pinnie, Shorts, Shooter Shirt) are available for purchase during registration if desired
