1st / 2nd Grade Program 

The 1/2 Team is designed for girls currently enrolled in 1st or 2nd grade.

This program continues skill development and introduces basic game concepts, including positional awareness and team play. Players will participate in two practices per week, Saturday games, and two Sunday tournaments. Practices focus on skill development, game instruction, and conditioning.

✔️ No experience is necessary — new players are welcome at any level!

PRACTICE SCHEDULE

Indoor Practices (April 6 – April 27)
Location: Rochester Sports Garden

• Mondays | 5:30 – 6:30 PM

  • Dates: 4/6, 4/13, 4/20, 4/27

Outdoor Practices (March 23 – June 1)
Location: Lookup Park, Henrietta

• Mondays & Wednesdays | 5:00 – 6:00 PM

Note: Indoor practices may be used as a backup depending on weather. Coaches will communicate any changes.

EQUIPMENT

All players must have:

• Girls lacrosse stick

• Mouth guard

• Goggles

For safety, all players are also encouraged to wear:

• Helmet (if desired)

Rental gear is available for first-year players. Rental fees help ensure proper care and return of equipment at the end of the season and allow us to continue offering rental gear.

UNIFORM

• RH uniform required for all players in grades 1–6

• Can be ordered during registration for:

  • New players

  • Returning players needing replacement or size change

Uniform includes: Jersey, Pinnie, Shorts, Shooter Shirt ($100)
Numbers will be assigned at random (even if you have a number and are sizing up, a specific number cannot be guaranteed).
