GIRLS 2024 FALL LACROSSE

PROGRAM DETAILS:

Skills and Drills will run every Tuesday and Thursday throughout the months of September and October. This is a great way to check out lacrosse if you've never played or to dust off those cobwebs for those of you who haven't played since the spring.

Players are broken into groups based on skill levels and then work on stick skills, passing, catching and general athletic conditioning. Players in grades 1-6 will participate in two local tournaments.

REGISTRATION DETAILS:

***Registration will be open to Rush-Henrietta Residents ONLY. Registration will open June 14th and close September 6th.***

Rush-Henrietta Youth Lacrosse programs are grade-based.

Players are not permitted to play with Rush Henrietta Youth Lacrosse teams above or below their current grade level

Program Registration fee: Grades 1-6: $125 This fee includes two practices a week and two tournaments.

Grades UPK/Kindergarten: $90 This fee includes two practices a week.

***USA Lacrosse Membership:

$35 per year/ 22 under membership

This is required in order to participate in any RH Youth Lacrosse Program 

A USA Lacrosse membership will only be purchased ONE TIME per calendar year. For the duration of your players year long membership you will enter their USA Lacrosse ID number during the registration process. This yearly membership insures your player wherever they play lacrosse. Additionally, there are many other benefits to take advantage of as a parent and for your player.

The USA Lacrosse Membership ID number will be needed in order to complete your program registration.

PRACTICE INFORMATION:

The following are the scheduled days and times based on level. The times are subject to change based on availability of coaches, field space and daylight hours. 

UPK/Kindergarten: Monday and Wednesday 5:00 - 6:00(sunset)

Grade 1 and Grade 2: Monday and Wednesday 5:00 - 6:15(sunset)

Grade 3 and Grade 4: Monday and Wednesday 5:15 - 6:15(sunset)

Grade 5 and Grade 6: Tuesday and Thursday 5:00 - 6:30(sunset)

Tournaments dates: 

Canandaigua Fall Brawl - Sunday October 6th

Sharpshooter - Sunday October 13th

EQUIPMENT INFORMATION:

Required Equipment: Goggles, mouth guard, and full size girls stick are required to participate (please see the image below).

***There are significant differences between a girls lacrosse stick and boys lacrosse stick. Please feel free to ask us any questions you may have.

Equipment Rental Program:

Our equipment rental program is for anyone NEW to the sport or anyone at the UPK/K or 1/2 level.

*Given our limited selection of rental equipment, we request that seasoned players from the 3/4 and 5/6 levels come to the field with their own equipment.

We have a limited selection of equipment (goggles and sticks) available to rent. You can select items needed and pay for them at the end of the on-line registration process. In order to help maintain the safety and quality of our equipment, there will be a rental fee of $30 for a full set of equipment (goggles and stick) OR $20 for a stick only OR $10 for the goggles only.

PURCHASING EQUIPMENT:
